The highest new entry is another proof that dance music has definitely returned to the upper reaches of the German single countdown. It belongs to Djane HouseKat and "My Party", which enters at #4. The song is cover of Michael Zager Band's "Let's All Chant" from 1978, which then peaked at #14.

At the same time Taio Cruz continues his successful strike of hits in the country. "There She Goes", the third single from Taio's current album, arrives at #5 following the mega-successful "Hangover" (peak #2) and "Troublemaker" (peak #6). It's an excellent new entry as the song even has no video to support it.

At #6 DJ Antoine has a reason to open another bottle of champaign (or vodka as more appropriate) as his "Ma Chérie" soars from #23 to finally reach the top 10. This happens in the single's 29th week in the Top 100, which is quite astonishing. The Swiss DJ should thank the casting shows though.

In the album chart Die Ärzte made a second week on top, with Unheilig once again as a runner-up. Jack White's "Blunderbuss" is new at #3, while Paradise Lost's "Tragic Idol" moves in at #6.
