Immofinanz sagte am Montag, dass er das Grand Hotel und Casino im
schweizerischen Skikurort St. Moritz an einem internationalen Investor
verkauft hat. Der Preis wird nicht veröffentlicht sein. Die Veräußerung
ist Teil der Firmenstrategie nur auf ihre Hauptmärkte zu fokussieren.

meldete, dass er ein
Joint Venture mit italienischem Sky Aces für die Produktion von

Die Raiffeisen
Bank International (RBI) sagte am Mittwoch, dass sie einen Nettoverlust
von EUR 117m im letzten Quartal des Jahres 2012 hat - gegenüber einem
Gewinn von EUR 222m in der Vorjahresperiode. Der Verlust war von höheren
Kreditrisikoversorgen verursacht. Für das ganze Jahre berichtete die
RBI einen Gewinn von EUR 725m - eine Abnahme von einem Viertel.
Der
Beko Holding meldete einen Nettogewinn von EUR 2.4m für das erste
Quartal seines Fiskaljahres - ein Rückgang von 22% gegenüber der
Vorjahresperiode. Mit EUR 13.7m blieb der Umsatz stabil. Das Unternehmen
gab keine Prognose für das ganze Jahr.
Fly Niki, eine
Tochter der Air Berlin, verkündigte, dass sie zwei Mal pro Tag von Wien
nach Moskau ab 27 April fliegen wird. Nun fliegt die Fly Niki nach Moskau nur ein
Mal täglich.
Donnerstag
Die Öl- und Gasgruppe OMV teilte am Donnerstag mit, dass ihr Umsatz um einem Viertel auf EUR 42.649bn im letzten Jahr gestiegen ist. Der Nettogewinn erhöhte sich um 12.8% auf

1.79bn. Der Vorstand plant eine Dividende von EUR 1.20 je Aktie - ein
Aufstieg von EUR 1.10 für das Jahr 2011. Für das laufende Jahr rechnet
die OMV mit einem Zuwachs bei Investitionen auf rund EUR 2.8bn, während
die Produktion stabil bleiben soll.
Der Feuerwehrfahrzeughersteller Rosenbauer meldete, dass sein Umsatz um 19% auf einen Rekordhoch von EUR
645m wegen verbesserter Importe zugenommen ist. Der Vorsteuergewinn
sank allerdings um 4% auf EUR 38.8m. Die Ergebnisse waren durch den
Preiswettbewerb belastet. Das Unternehmen erwartet eine gute Auslastung
für das laufende Jahr.
Der
Wassertechnologiespezialist BWT verkündigte einen Rekordhochumsatz von
EUR 502.3m für das Jahr 2012 - eine Zunahme von 4.9% gegenüber 2011. Der
Nettogewinn stieg um 4.7% auf EUR 14.4m. Die Dividende bleiben
unverändert auf EUR 0.28 je Aktie. Für 2013 rechnet die Firma mit einem
erhöhten Umsatz aber mit gestiegenen Werbung und Finanzierungskosten.
Freitag
Der
Versicherer Uniqa teilte mit, dass er das Jahr 2012 mit einem
Konzernergebnis von EUR 130.2m geendet hat. Das Ergebnis stand höher als
das erwartet von Analysten. Nach dem Verlustjahr 2011 schlagt Uniqa
eine Dividende von EUR 0.25 je Aktie für 2012 vor.
Die
Baugruppe Porr sagte, dass sie das letzte Jahr mit einem positiven
Ergebnis geschlossen hat, gegenüber einem Verlust von EUR 72.2m für
das Vorjahr. Die Produktionsleistung blieb unverändert zirka das 2011
Volumen von EUR 2.9bn.
Der Bauer Strabag meldete eine Kooperationsvereinbarung mit Bergbauriese Rio Tinto für das Entwicklung von Tunnel Vortriebssystemen.
Die österreichische Frucht und Zuckergruppe Agrana sagte, dass sie USD 40m in den Bau von einem neuen Werk für das Fruchtzubereitungsgeschäft in den USA investiert.

Dutch dance duo Bingo Players had a big success with "Get Up (Rattle)" in UK several weeks ago and now it's time for the song to enter at #22 in the German charts. Bingo Players have only one song which has charted in Germany so far and it is actually "Rattle", the original on which the new single is based and which did not reach higher than #79.

This week "Bella Vita", the proper new single of DJ Antoine, is also climbing as it advances 12 notches to #25.

A lot has been said on German media over the past few weeks about the latest album of schlager legend Heino, whose first album dates back from 1967. So the veteran has decided to make his versions of many contemporary German hits (which reportedly triggered the angry reaction of the "affected" bands) and that has brought him a great success as the album not only debuts at #1, being the first chart topper of his long career, but also smashes a lot of records on the way. Hate it or love it, Heino has also brought several songs in the singles chart with the most successful being "Junge", originally by Die Aerzte, which enters at #27.

So, as it became clear, Heino's "Mit Freundlichen Grüßen" is number one in the album chart, while Selig's "Magma" is new at #4. It is the third album in a row for the German rock band in the top ten. Also new inside the top ten are the debut album of Imagine Dragons, called "Night Visions", at #6, and the latest from Blind Guardian, "A Traveler's Guide To Space And Time", at #8. Blind Guardian have now sixth consecutive LPs in the top 10.

Die Energie Burgenland AG, eine 49%-Tochter des Burgenland Holding AG und 51%-kontrolliert vom Burgenland, wird für 2012 etwa EUR 17m als Dividende bezahlen.

Der Faserhersteller Lenzing lehnte am Dienstag ab, dass er konkrete Pläne für ein Werk in Burma hat. Die Gerüchte kamen nach einem Besuch mit der Wirtschaftskammer in dem südasiatischen Land.

Die Stahlgruppe Voestalpine meldete einen 10.2% Rückfall beim Nettogewinn auf EUR 369.5m in den ersten drei Quartalen des Fiskaljahres. Der Umsatz gab 2.5% auf EUR 8.65bn nach. Das Unternehmen hat seine Prognose allerdings bestätigt.
Das Cateringunternehmen Do & Co erhöhte seinen Nettogewinn um 23.9% auf EUR 18.4m in den ersten neun Monaten seines Geschäftsjahres. Die Erlöse stiegen um 22.2% auf EUR 442.2m. Die Firma zeigte Zuwächse in ihren drei Bereichen.
Die Kapsch sagte am Donnerstag, dass sie Mobilfunktechnologie für die bulgarische Eisenbahninfrastruktur liefern wird. Die österreichische Firma beteiligt sich in einem von der französischen Thales geführt Konsortium.
Gurktaler AG, eine Abspaltung des Sektherstellers Schlumberger, wird an der Wiener Börse ab Freitag handeln. Das ist das erste Listing in Wien seit November 2011.
Die Maschinengruppe Andritz hat alle regulatorische Genehmigungen für die Übernahme der deutschen Schuler konditionsfrei erhalten. Der Zukauf wird ab 1 März effektiv sein.

Die Teak Holz International verkündigte ein EBIT von nur EUR 10,000 im ersten Quartal ihres Fiskaljahres, ein Untergang von EUR 1.7m in der Vorjahresperiode. Das Ergebnis war von den ungünstigen Dollar-Euro Wechselkursen belastet. Die Erlöse stiegen leicht von EUR 90,000 auf EUR 109,000.
Der österreichische Sekthersteller Schlumberger meldete einen Außenumsatz von EUR 176.1m in den ersten drei Quartalen des Fiskaljahres, ein Rückgang von 6.0% gegenüber der Vorjahresperiode. Das Unternehmen sagte, dass sein Weihnachtsumsatz schwächer als im Jahr 2011 war. Der Schlumberger erwartet allerdings stabile Umsatz und Ergebnisse für das ganze Fiskaljahr.

Das Cateringunternehmen Do & Co erhöhte seinen Nettogewinn um 23.9% auf EUR 18.4m in den ersten neun Monaten seines Geschäftsjahres. Die Erlöse stiegen um 22.2% auf EUR 442.2m. Die Firma zeigte Zuwächse in ihren drei Bereichen.
Die Kapsch sagte am Donnerstag, dass sie Mobilfunktechnologie für die bulgarische Eisenbahninfrastruktur liefern wird. Die österreichische Firma beteiligt sich in einem von der französischen Thales geführt Konsortium.
Gurktaler AG, eine Abspaltung des Sektherstellers Schlumberger, wird an der Wiener Börse ab Freitag handeln. Das ist das erste Listing in Wien seit November 2011.

Coinciding with the release of his new album, Swiss star DJ Antoine has flooded the singles chart with several new entries. The biggest of them, "Sky Is The Limit", is actually not the official one (this honour goes to Bella Vita at #37) but that doesn't prevent it from charting at #15. I guess to be on the cover of Bravo every week doesn't sell singles. One Direction are quite aware of that.

Der Periodenergebnis stieg auf EUR 4.4m von EUR 3.7m. Das Unternehmen rechnet mit einer zumindest stabilen operativen Entwicklung im letzten Quartal.

Die Arbeitslosenzahl in Österreich stieg im Jänner 2013 um 6.4% auf 338,421. Nach der eigenen österreichischen Methodologie erhöhte sich die Arbeitslosenquote um 0.5 Prozentpunkten auf 9.1%.
Die OMV hat den Verkauf ihrer 62 Tankstellen in Kroatien an der kroatischen Firma Crodux abgeschlossen. Die Divestition ist Teil der Strategie der OMV aus dem Retailbereich in Kroatien und Bosnien auszusteigen.

Austrian credit card provider Paylife is before a takeover by Swiss Six, Wirtschaftsblatt reported on Monday. Currently Paylife's biggest shareholders Bank Austria, Erste Bank, Bawag and ÖVAG have approved the deal. However, Raiffeisen Zentralbank, another stakeholder in Paylife, has the pre-emptive right to buy the shares but it is expected to also exit Paylife.
Austrian State Printing House (OeSD) closed the first three quarters of its fiscal year with a revenue of EUR 33.8m, up from EUR 31.8m a year earlier. Net profit rose to EUR 4.4m from EUR 3.7m. The company projects at least stable operating development for the fourth quarter.

Austrian Federal Railways (OeBB) plans to buy 100 new trains from Siemens for EUR 581m. The trains will be used for the S-Bahn network and for regional transport.

Pharma company Sanochemia ended fiscal 2011/12 with a net loss of EUR 1.4m, compared with a profit of EUR 0.9m a year earlier. Sales decreased to EUR 30.2m from EUR 34.1m. The company did not give a concrete outlook for the current fiscal year.
Stefan Pierer, CEO of Austrian motorcycle producer KTM, plans to buy Swedish-Italian sector player Husqvarna from BMW, different media reported. With the takeover, KTM will turn into one of the biggest sector players in Europe.

The results of OMV for the fourth quarter of 2012 were burdened by about EUR 120m due to reserves for possible losses at the EconGas subsidiary. In addition, hedges had a negative impact of EUR 36m on the EBIT. The refinery margin worsened compared with the previous quarter.
Machinery group Andritz received a EUR 125m order in Canada. Andritz Hydro will provide parts for new hydropower plant Muskrat Falls.
Austria's unemployment rose by 6.4% year-on-year to 338,421 in January 2013. Under the country's own calculation methodology the unemployment rate stood at 9.1%, up by 0.5 percentage points.
OMV has completed the sale of its 62 gas filling stations in Croatia to local company Crodux. The divestment is part of OMV's strategy to leave the retail market of Croatia and Bosnia.
Austrian credit card provider Paylife is before a takeover by Swiss Six, Wirtschaftsblatt reported on Monday. Currently Paylife's biggest shareholders Bank Austria, Erste Bank, Bawag and ÖVAG have approved the deal. However, Raiffeisen Zentralbank, another stakeholder in Paylife, has the pre-emptive right to buy the shares but it is expected to also exit Paylife.
Austrian State Printing House (OeSD) closed the first three quarters of its fiscal year with a revenue of EUR 33.8m, up from EUR 31.8m a year earlier. Net profit rose to EUR 4.4m from EUR 3.7m. The company projects at least stable operating development for the fourth quarter.
Tuesday
Ams, former austriamicrosystems, said its net profit soared 132% to EUR 81.9m in 2012. Sales grew 41% to EUR 387.6m as the company benefited from the boom in the smartphone and tablet sector. Ams projects a cooling off of the business development in 2013.
Teak Holz International ended fiscal 2011/12 with EBIT of EUR 8.4m -- growth from EUR 2.4m a year earlier. Group profit soared to EUR 3.9m from EUR 0.4m. The results were boosted by the good tree growth and to the favourable development of the US dollar-euro exchange rate.
Bank Austria will manage its activities in the Czech Republic and Slovakia from Prague as the headquarters in Bratislava will be closed. In addition, Bank Austria's parent, UniCredit, will merge its business in the Baltic countries.
Wednesday
Office furniture maker Bene will launch an international restructuring programme. Some 100 of the 1,300 worldwide jobs will be cut.
C.A.T. oil reported an all-time high order backlog of EUR 392m for 2013 and a total of EUR 530m for the current year and for 2014 and 2015.
Austrian Federal Railways (OeBB) plans to buy 100 new trains from Siemens for EUR 581m. The trains will be used for the S-Bahn network and for regional transport.
Thursday
Pharma company Sanochemia ended fiscal 2011/12 with a net loss of EUR 1.4m, compared with a profit of EUR 0.9m a year earlier. Sales decreased to EUR 30.2m from EUR 34.1m. The company did not give a concrete outlook for the current fiscal year.
Stefan Pierer, CEO of Austrian motorcycle producer KTM, plans to buy Swedish-Italian sector player Husqvarna from BMW, different media reported. With the takeover, KTM will turn into one of the biggest sector players in Europe.
Raiffeisen Bank International (RBI) said on Thursday evening it expects a net profit of over EUR 700m for 2012, compared with EUR 968m for 2011. Due to considerable write-downs, the fourth quarter was ended in the red.
Friday
The results of OMV for the fourth quarter of 2012 were burdened by about EUR 120m due to reserves for possible losses at the EconGas subsidiary. In addition, hedges had a negative impact of EUR 36m on the EBIT. The refinery margin worsened compared with the previous quarter.
Machinery group Andritz received a EUR 125m order in Canada. Andritz Hydro will provide parts for new hydropower plant Muskrat Falls.
Austria's unemployment rose by 6.4% year-on-year to 338,421 in January 2013. Under the country's own calculation methodology the unemployment rate stood at 9.1%, up by 0.5 percentage points.
OMV has completed the sale of its 62 gas filling stations in Croatia to local company Crodux. The divestment is part of OMV's strategy to leave the retail market of Croatia and Bosnia.

The highest new entry is at #12 belonging to Pitbull with the support of Christina Aguilera. "Feel This Moment" is the best scoring single of Pitbull's "Global Warming" album ("Back in Time" not included) and is his fifth top 20 single as a lead artist. Last time around, Christina Aguilera's "Your Body" peaked at #29.
