There is no stopping Israel "IZ" Kamakawiwo'ole from being number one in Germany for yet another week and as we head towards the year-end charts, the late singer approaches a third month atop of the singles top 100. Whether this will happen, we'll see next week. For now IZ stands at number one for an eleventh combined week. IZ also leads a completely steady top five, with all major players keeping their positions from the last week.

The highest new entry belongs to Taio Cruz, one of the breakout stars of the year, and superstar Kylie Minogue at #10. "Higher" comes after the #5 peak of Taio's "Break Your Heart" and the #3 hit "Dynamite". As long as Kylie is concerned, the single returns her to the top 10 after the disappointing performance of her last chart entry in Germany - "Get Outta My Way" (peak #41).

On the way down we should not forget to mention that MJ has another top ten hit in Germany as his "Hold My Hand" jumps eleven places to peak at #7.

The second highest new entry comes from newcomers LaVive and "No Time For Sleeping". LaVive are the latest girl band to emerge from the still popular Popstars casting show in Germany. This is of course the show that gave us No Angles, Bro'Sis and the recently disbanded Monrose. All the aforementioned witnessed their debut singles shooting up straight at the top of the charts, so far now the prospects before LaVive are more towards Room2012 and Some and Any fate. It's a catchy pop song though.

The next new entry comes from Pitbull at #28 and sees the US rapper in the top 30 for a fourth time in a row. "Hey Baby (Drop It To The Floor)" marks the release of his latest album "Planet Pit". Pitbull's biggest hit in the country is "I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)" which reached #8 in 2009.

It's a shame that one of the best German bands has to see its latest single outside the top 40. Having in mind however that this is the fourth single taken from Ich + Ich's five-time gold album "Gute Reise", the entry of "Hilf Mir" at #45 is not so surprising after all.

The biggest news of the week however is down at #54, where "Real Love", the latest offering of Sarah Connor charts. With this new entry, Sarah, one of the singers with the most steady chart careers in the last ten years, registers her least successful single ever. Not only that, but "Real Love" is her first ever song to chart outside the top #30 (and actually she had only two songs charting outside the top 20 before that). From now on, the path which Sarah Connor's career will take will be an interesting thing to be watched...

And the only other new entry this week:
