German Chart Comments - Issue Date 1.08

Three years ago Marlon Roudette, the ex-frontman of Mattafix, surprised quite a lot of people by managing to bring his first solo single "New Age" to the top of the German charts. Now, to prove that he is already a huge star in the country (and perhaps only there), "When The Beat Drops Out", the first single from his sophomore solo album "Electric Soul" debuts straight at the top. Marlon's previous solo single "Anti Hero (Brave New World)" peaked at #6 in Germany.

At #2 "Au Revioir" of Mark Forster ft. Sido continues to impress, while "Prayer in C" of Lilly Wood & The Prick and Robin Schulz returns to the top three, by rising one to #3. Now, with all the emotions surrounding the winning of the world football cup by Germany fading away, last week's number one - "Auf uns" of Andreas Bourani slips three to #4.
