Оглупели от любов / Crazy Stupid Love - It's admiring that even in the summer of the R-rated comedies, a film not relying on rude humour and graphic scenes can be as equally funny and sharply written. So, welcome Crazy Stupid Love, a movie which (maybe) was conceived as the usual show of Steve Carrell but succeeds to be far more than that. Apart from Steve, who fills the shoes of his character with ease, the strong cast boasts also the excellent Julianne Moore, man-of-the-moment Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone. And, it's scientifically proven that any film is elevated by 50% with the presence of the future Gwen Stacy. Oh, and let's not forget Marisa Tomei, whose craziness is unforgettable. The pearl of the movie, however, is its great script, which succeeds the unthinkable - to be surprising and at the same time coherent. The several story lines are masterfully intervened, while writer Dan Fogelman keeps track of every character until the very end. Definitely the feel-good movie of the season and one of the best Hollywood comedies for 2011... (Alexandra) ****

Елитни убийци / Killer Elite - Though billed as a vehicle of Jason Statham, Clive Owen and Robert De Niro, this spy thriller plays like a typical movie for the Transporter star, with all resulting cons and prons. On the one hand, if you are a fan of Statham's action skills, you won't be disappointed, on the other, however, if you want subtlety so necessary for making such type of films really good, look somewhere else. After all Jason will growl, fight and kick ass until the very end. On the plus side, the film's story is more or less intriguing and will grip you from the very start. Unfortunately, though, at the end it starts to feel too heavy with plot details, and perhaps more brave editing would have helped. As regards Clive Owen, his facial hair is not so ridiculous as it looked in the trailer, while the fact that De Niro plays a supporting role is something which I always cherish these days. A movie which will not join the elite club but is passable for the killing of two spare hours. (Forum Film) ***
