German Chart Comments - Issue Date 3.06.2016

"Can't Stop The Feeling!" of Justin Timberlake sticks to the number one position in Germany for a third week in a row, followed once again by Kungs Vs. Cookin' On 3 Burners and their dance smash "This Girl" at #2 and Drake feat. WizKid & Kyla and "One Dance" at #3.

At #6, up two, Joe Jonas and DNCE registered a new peak with "Cake By the Ocean".

In an almost unchanged top 20, Cheat Codes X Kris Kross Amsterdam rise two to #14, followed closely by "No Money" of Galantis, up three to #15.

Alle Farben's "Please Tell Rosie" enters the top 20 at #16, an increase from #22 where it was last week. As I've already predicted Jennifer Lopez is having a new hit on her hands with "Ain't Your Mama". The song climbs eight positions and lands at #17.

Julian Perretta's manages to improve on its #20 peak several weeks ago and is this time up two to #19. Pink is also on the rise with "Just Like Fire", the song taken from current Disney flop "Alice Through The Looking Glass". It is at #21, up seven positions.

Local newcomer Max Giesinger moves up five to #24 with "80 Millionen" and Gnash's "I Hate U, I Love U" advances a position to #26.

David Guetta and Swedish supernova Zara Larsson have cooked up the hymn of the Euro 2016 football tournament in the shape of "This One's For You". In its third week in the top 100, the song can be found at #29, up from #38.

Drake and Rihanna's "Too Good" also registers a new peak at #33. Last time it was at #36.

The only proper new hit inside the top 40 belongs to Canadian country, rock, folk band The Strumbellas and their debut "Spirits". In its third week in the top 100, the song soars to #35 from #74.

The Album Chart

Gzuz & Bonez MC are the latest rap act to manage to climb to the summit of Germany's LP chart. The album in question is called "High & Hungrig 2" and the guys have succeeded to bring nine of its tracks inside the singles chart as well. Following three #1-albums their colleague Farid Bang has to satisfy himself with "Blut" entering at #2. British metalcore band Architects make a career best with "All Our Gods Have Abandoned Us" coming in at #8.
