(BG Status - The Bulgarian Disney distributor considered the movie as too niche for our market, so despite Oscar nominated it won't be released in Bulgaria. It's the same distributor which dropped Paranorman, so no surprises here. Just the broken hearts of all fans of animation and Tim Burton)

(BG Status - The Bulgarian Fox distributor was against this movie from the very start, considering it as too talky and insufficient on the action side. The fact that War Horse and Tintin were flops in the country doesn't help either. However, due to all the Oscar talk, Lincoln's distribution has not been cancelled yet and for now is postponed for March 22. But, if it does not take the prize for best film, don't expect it to be released in Bulgaria. And yes, this will officially mark the end of any normality at one of the two main distributors in the country.)
