In BG Cinemas from Jan 21

Булевард Лондон / London Boulevard (UK) - The latest London-set gangster movie offers nothing new for the genre fans, but at least it guarantees that there won't be any bored viewers. Colin Farrell makes a good role, though Keira's character is shockingly underwritten and could be played by any pretty face out there. The best of the gang however is David Thewlis, aka Lupin from the Harry Potter series, who nails the role as Keira's assistant. He is worth the ticket price alone... Forum Film

Истинската история за котарака в чизми / La véritable histoire du Chat Botté (France) - The first of the two animated titles hitting the BG cinemas this week is let's say it - a complete mess. At places it is too scary to charm the little ones, and as a whole is so naive, with one of the ugliest animations this decade, that it won't attract any adults too. And it also doesn't come in 3D. Least to say about how the authors handled the classic story, the better. ProFilms

Епохата на животните / Konferenz der Tiere (Germany) - Though I haven't watched this, I'm more than certain that the Germans have made much superior movie than their French colleagues. And it comes in 3D.... A+
