German Chart Comments - Issue Date 7.03

Mr Probz may have managed to replace Pharrell Williams at the top of the German singles chart with "Waves" last week but this time quickly vacates the throne and lead the way to Pharrell's "Happy" to return to #1 for a seventh non-consecutive time. Thus the Dutch artist is down one to #2, followed by the highest new entry at #3.

Nico & Vinz, a Norwegian duo formerly known as Envy, already had a huge success in Scandinavia with "Am I Wrong" in 2013. Now it's time for the song to conquer the rest of Europe, with a debut at #3 in Germany quite a good start.

Apart from the #5 peak of "Forever Love" in the 1990s, Gary Barlow was never a huge solo star in Germany ("Shame", which reached #11 in 2010, was after all a collaboration with the far more popular Robbie Williams), but that does not stop his comeback single, the brilliant "Let Me Go", to enter comfortably at #25.

At #26, Sido's "Liebe" moves up one, as well as "Wizard" of Martin Garrix and Hardway, which enters the top 30 at #30 in its second week on the chart.

This week the most famous DJ worldwide returns to the countdown with a brand new material as "Red Lights" enters at #29.
