It's a fourth week for Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" on the top in
Germany, once again followed by Daft Punk's "Get Lucky". The top three
is completed by OneRepublic's (amazing) "Counting Stars", which moves up
three and becomes the best performing single of the group since
"Secrets" from 2009. And having in mind it is the third single from
OneRepublic's latest LP and does not feature in any local movie
soundtrack, this is a real accomplishment.

Not much going on in the
rest of the top ten with just outside of it, at #11, Tom Odell scores
his first top 20 hit with "Another Love" which rises 19 positions.
Fergie also continues her climb as "A Little Party Never Killed Nobody
(All We Got)" is up two to #13.

After "I Could Be the One" couldn't
advance higher than #37, Avicii is back on form as his "Wake Me Up!"
storms the countdown at #16. The song, which features the vocals of Aloe
"I Need a Dollar" Blacc, is still to gain in promotion and by the looks
of it (or more precisely by the sound of it), the single is going to be
massive. It becomes the second most successful track of the Swedish
producer after "Levels" peaked at #6.

The second new entry comes a
position behind Avicii and is credited to Cpt. Nepomuk's Friendly Heart
Choir Club - a group of musicians, which includes among others members
of Sportfreunde Stiller, BAP and Blumentopf. They gathered to record
"Weida mitanand" as a charity single after the devastating floods, which
hit Germany this year.

Also new inside the top 20 is Naughty Boy's
"La La La", which goes up six places, and surprisingly becomes a real
hit in the country.

Coinciding with their number one in the LP chart
this week, German hip hop duo Genetikk enter this week the singles chart
for a first time with "Liebs oder lass es" at #39.

At #40 we have
another charity single, this time from Wilde Flamme, whose
"Geschichten bleiben Geschichten" is a second appearance on the list
after "1000 Meilen, 1000 Worte" reached #58 last year.

Following some
controversy with the video, Polish singer Margaret debuts this week in
the official countdown with "Thank You Very Much". Needless to say, this
is her first foray in the Top 100.

The Album Chart
As it became clear "D.N.A."
Genetikk's first album to ever enter the LP chart debuts straight at #1.
It is followed by "13" of Black Sabath, who keep the silver medals for
another week. New at #3 is the ninth studio album of metalcore album
Amon Amarth. "Deceiver Of The Gods" becomes their best performing LP in
Germany.
