Despite a notch behind Toy Story 3 (the best movie of the year so far) and How to Train Your Dragon, Despicable Me is more than welcome debut of Universal's new animation studio. The story of anti-hero Gru offers a lot of laughter and adventure, but the best of all are Gru's sidekicks - the awesome minions. Forum Film

Стъклената река (2009) / Stauklenata reka (България) - Another BG film premiers this week. Although I admit I haven't watched it and do not plan to, I really cannot be judging it. But having in mind the more-than-awful trailer, the wooden performances, the director, the actors, the National TV's involvement, I'm completely certain it would suck... ProFilms

Яж, моли се и обичай (2010) / Eat Pray Love (САЩ) - It's a strange kind of a movie. On the one hand, it has what to offer in terms of visuals and life thoughts, on the other it drags for so long and tries to be extremely lecturing. The first (eat) part taking place in Italy is great but the visit to India will most probably make you asleep. And the final, Bali, part is no good either. My advice, watch the first 40-45 minutes and then go and grab a slice of pizza. Alexandra
