The highest new entry comes in at #5 belonging to Zayn, the member of One Direction who left the band last year. Shockingly enough his debut solo single "Pillowtalk" manages to beat all chart placings of One Direction in Germany, who in their career had only one single creeping inside the top ten - "Drag Me Down" from 2015 when Zayn had already said goodbye to the other boys. Whether he will turn into the next Justin or Robbie, only time will tell.

Two of the dance anthems of early 2016 storm the top ten this week and will certainly challenge the reign of EFF in the next days. At #7, up from #16, we can find Jonas Blue and Dakota with "Fast Car", while Alan Walker's smash "Faded" is at #8, up from #17.

Outside the top ten, G-Eazy and Bebe Rexha rise two to #11 with "Me, Myself and I", while Elle King's "Ex's and Oh's" goes up also two, to #18. New to the top 20 is "Die immer lacht" of Stereoact and Kerstin Ott, who actually wrote the song several years ago before Stereoact made its rendition of it.

Topic and Nica Santos have the next dance track lined up to join the top 20 as "Home" climbs eleven positions to #21. Twenty One Pilots move up fifteen to #22 with "Stressed Out", while Rihanna and Drake are at #23, up from #31 with "Work" in its second week.

The second new entry of the week appears at #26 courtesy of Lamiya, or the next German YouTube-related celebrity (not her, but her sister!?! or something). The track is called "Glow".
The neverending string of dance project continues at #38 with Barcelona-based Yall and the vocals of Gabriela Richardson. "Hundred Miles" is already gaining steam in many countries, it's in the French top five, so needless to say, the song is destined to climb in Germany as well.

Although there may have been not many who connect the 2014 hit "Selfie" (peak #38) with The Chainsmokers, it's US house duo who this week has its second hit-candidate in the face of "Roses". It sits comfortably at #39, up from #56.

The Album Chart
There are six new entries inside the top ten of the German album charts led once again by a rapper at #1. This time it's SSIO and his third and most successful album "0.9" at #1. German power metal band Avantasia score their third consecutive #2 album in their career with "Ghostlights".
Dream Theater return with their fourth album in a row directly to land inside the top five, it's called "The Astonishing" and is at #5, followed by the latest of Runrig "The Story" at #6. The collection of Phil Collins "Take A Look At Me Now" arrives at #9, just one position above "Dystopia", the 16th studio album of Megadeth and astonishingly their first to enter the top ten.
